I wish I understood the full qualifications to get into this event. There are some pretty average golfers in the field from other countries that are not in the top 50 in the world rankings. I don't understand how winning a PGA event this season does not get a golfer into the field but yet golfers like Aiken, Fisher, Fleetwood, Fujita, Jeffress (what), Lipsky (whoever the heck that is), Oda (huh) and Stal (huh) got into the field.

There are a couple there even I don't know...but I do know a few are currently there because they are in Top Ten for the Race to Dubai (Euro equivalent to FedEx) Oda actually is ranked fairly high...likely I would guess he is a Top 3 on Asia Tour or something. Fisher and Fleetwood are rising...Stal is Top Ten on Euro...won a couple weeks ago..Part of surging French group of golfers after Duboisson and Levy.

Damn I just noticed that Sang Moon Bae and Robert Streb were both late additions to the field. I didn't see either of them listed on Friday and didn't think they were even eligible for this tourney. I wonder how either or both suddenly qualified for the field. I probably wouldn't have added Warren or Illonen if I would have known that. It cost me Scott Pinckney because of it. Oh well that is how things go I guess.
For now I will keep my lineup the same but I may have a change of heart by tee time Thursday. I am thinking of you Josh in starting those two worthless Euros :-)
I will add Bae as my alternate though.

Hahn, winner of the Northern Trust Open, will not play in the tournament, though, because his wife is expecting their first child. |

*LOL*...Warren has been on a good roll on Euro Tour....and Ilonen is GOOD. Last major (PGA Championship, thus on U.S. soil)...He finished T7...so I guess you wouldn't frown with that?  |
