So here is what we have so far for opinions
1) Leave everything as it is. Everyone would have to circumvent their rosters as they see fit.
2) Be able to add an indefinite amount of golfers (2 or 3 has been mentioned) for free for this tourney only
3) Be able to add golfers for this tourney only at a salary cap price (yet to be determined)
Which option is the best for the league in everyone's opinion. If 1 gets the more votes than 2 and 3 combined we will go with 1. If 2 and 3 combined get more votes than 1 than we will have a revote with 2 and 3 only.

The more I think about this the more ridiculous it sounds to me,I mean
1-if I knew we would be discussing free picks for the euro tourneys once the season started than I may have spent more in the draft going after players I wanted but gave up on because I wanted a little more cap space
2-I probably don’t waste a pick on Sharma
3-I definitely don’t use a $5 add on Rai
4- I don’t think I’ve ever been in a cash league that voted on rule changes during the season,it just doesn’t make sense and it opens up a big old can of worms, people can add players if they want, they just have to decide if they want to use their cap space to do so.
Final note: The season has started,we will learn from it and discuss it more for NEXT season, once a season starts then rules should stay as they are unless it’s a completely unanimous decision.

I agree to a point with Sand Rage and typically lean on the side of being a stickler with rules, but on one hand I think there is a chance that some people voted in this new event with the understanding that there would be additional players added just for this event. So I don't think that is changing the rules after the fact. This was a big point of discussion before the season started and before the rules were really set. Unfortunately the beginning of this season was already thrown off track when we couldn't draft prior to the Sentry so things needed to be done and decided. Techincally the rules already changed because we were not able to have that draft so we have to do the best we can based on circumstances beyond our control.
As commissioner I try to do what is fair for the league and not necessarily what is fair for my team. I have the cap room to do more juggling throughout the year but some do not have that luxury. It was not officially declared whether we would have these free players adds or not. That is partially my fault but when we were trying to get the draft and the league off the ground other priorities needed to be done first before deciding on how to handle this event. One could very easily argue that the rules before the draft were that there would be an expectation of being able to add golfers for this event only. This is why it is important to have this discussion.

I would love the opportunity to get some free adds and fill my roster for both tournaments but the more I think about it, my vote is for option 1, leave it as is for this year.
If I am in the minority though, I can roll with whatever is decided by the league.
My final vote, option 1

We will allow discussion for a couple of more days and then have a final decision by the end of the day Sunday. I will only vote in the event of a tie.

I also think we should really pay attention to fields and tournaments this year. It does suck that Abu Dhabi is a Tier 2 event for this year but oh well, that has been decided ahead of time. Let's really scrutinize the Tier 3's and see if there is a swap that can be made and next year have Abu Dhabi be a tier 3.

If it were up to me there will be no Abu Dhabi next year. If we have a 2 tourney week I would rather that be during a big event such as a WGC event or a major where the second event be a lower level U.S. event that would involve the lesser players on teams rosters as a tier 3.

Since we just have a few opinion and they are all for option 1, we will officially go with that. No players will be added for the purpose of just this tourney. Everyone will need to utilize their regular roster for this event.
