Tonight will be Round 1....Round 2 and 3 tomorrow....Sat Rounds 4-7. If things went perfectly....Beasley would be there at #11 For us...but alas, I highly doubt it will happen. Cooper will be gone there at WR... but White...and PARKER makes sense on many planes. If we do not trade down...likely will be between Parker and Waynes at CB. I love drafting CB...but I don't think Waynes is that deserving of the pick....rather go Parker. If Vic Beasley was still available at OLB for us...I think I'd wet myself.

I lol'd at the pee yourself comment. But, since I have a 4 year old that still wears a pull up to bed, you are cleaning yourself up!!!!!
Also reminds me I don't think we have ever talked Teddy? I'm pretty sure I remember you discussing scenarios about drafting Teddy when he was like a Freshman. I heart Teddy. What a stud. Such a likable guy on top of it all.

Well Beasley just got picked by the Falcons. I am in the Waynes camp but would be marginally ok with Parker. Honestly I also wanted Manziel last year (ok I will admit it was not a good train of thought) so what do I know.

Ut oh Josh, Waynes is the pick. First your golf team at match play and now this. Not good developments for ya there. Lets hope Waynes does a good job and his weaknesses don't limit him from being a good NFL player. I am not as high on Parker as some but I really don't know either. I think it's great that the Vikes finally picked a corner high in a draft. The secondary will no doubt be improved. The defense is really gonna be a strength of this team in short time.

Wasn't a bad pick...and as expected Beasley was gone...pick was about predictable as they come. So...Draft not so bad..This tourney on the other hand has overall been about as pleasant as having carnal relations with a bull musk ox. Maybe I can be completely screwed over, and have Na beat Hideki today...that would be the cherry and sprinkles on the sundae...lol.

It seems as if most fans and most experts graded out the Vikings draft this weekend as pretty impressive overall. They got defensive players (Corner, Linebacker, and D-End) with the first three picks. That defense will have some definate talent and should be in the top half of the league with upside to be even better than that, maybe top 10 or even top 5. Even wide receiver Stefon Diggs drafted in the 5th round is regarded as a player that should have been drafted much higher and rated a steal by many.
Even with Diggs the Vikings will definately be in the market for a high end receiver next year. I would not be surprised at all if the Vikings went receiver in the first round of next years draft. Zimmer now has his players for the defense, now it's time for Norv Turner to get some talent to add to the offense.

Diggs was a nice pick...especially where we got him...at very least he should finally make Sherels expendable. Loved our second round pick....Our Bruin LB corps are going to be swift and impressive. ADDED some Olive depth where we stole a guy even.....so nice...but I agree....meet year...maybe get that true #1 WR who will gel with Teddy.
