I'll be very surprised to see Duval on-air, after this week.

So profound, it ^^ needed to be repeated. A: I'd listen to 2 mos of Tiger inanities, before I'd pull the plug. 14 majors gives a dude latitude.

OMG, Tiger and Rory at both -3 on their rounds and at -5 on the front 9. Schwartzel as well. This is getting somewhat intriguing. It will be interesting to see Rose, Johnson and Casey do at -7. By the time Spieth and Hoffman tee off there might already be a little extra pressure on the both of them. It looks to be a good scoring day at Augusta National.

I know there is still a lot of golf but could you imagine if Spieth wasn't at -15? Tiger, Phil, Rory, Dustin, Rose, Day and then a bunch of others like Sergio etc. I like Spieth so I'm not rooting against him but wow there are some fun names all lumped closely together.
And Rich. I agree on Duval. But, Brandel is such a Tiger hater he is hard to listen to for me. He has sort of turned into one of those guys who predicts everyone will lose. Well, that's a pretty easy bet in golf. But, he always throws in something positive just in case. But, he can't stand Tiger and it's obvious.

Again, when are they going to learn to NOT leave the mic open after a golfer hits a bad shot? ? Tiger drops the F bomb. In some situations I don't really blame the player.

Spieth has such composure. After what could have been a disasterous double bogey on 17 he comes back with a tremendous par save on 18 to keep a 4 shot lead. I was hoping Mickelson would be in the final group but Rose had to ruin that. If Rose wins Ryan will really be far out ahead of everyone else so I gotta hope for a Rose meltdown tomorrow plus I don't really like him anyway. Sorry Ryan but we can't allow you too far ahead of the pack. I would love for Spieth, Hoffman or Mickelson to win it tomorrow. Tiger and Rory are on the outside of contention but if one of them can shoot a 64 tomorrow one never knows. Dustin Johnson was in good position but didn't finish it out well and same for Casey.
I do think Spieth will be ok tomorrow. Some may think he will fall apart and that is certainly possible but I like Jordan's game and disposition and I think it is more likely that he will hold on for the win. I look for him to win by about 5 tomorrow.

In 2011, young Rory was 4 shots up heading into the final round, after a dominating week.
Ended up losing by 10, starting with the snap-hook on 10.
The Masters 'starts' on the back nine, on Sunday.

Spieth has such composure. "I've watched two days with no improvement on the leaderboard. One more day like that, and you're all swimming with the fish." "Els, you were -6 and finished -2 four holes later". Contemplating kicking yer big-easy arse back to Johannesburg.

I just hope its close and exciting the last 9 holes.

Spieth will be the player that decides whether will we have back 9 drama tomorrow. If he shoots 68 he will pretty much sew up the tourney. That is what I hope he does. When there is a player well out ahead sometimes for the rest of the field it's smarter just to focus on the golfer in second place which is Rose at -12. Those same players will just have to hope Spieth falls apart. Even if Spieth didn't exist in the tourney golfers like Tiger and Rory are still 6 back of 2nd place which is a pretty huge deficit to make up. Usually the Masters champ comes from the last 2 groups especially the last group. This is pretty much a 4 man tourney tomorrow. Spieth at -16, Rose at -12, Mickelson at -11 and Hoffman at -10. The dropoff is steep after that down to -6. Those at -6 right now are going to have to shoot a 66 at worst but probably more like a 64 tomorrow to have a realistic chance. Honestly that is likely just grasping at straws. In my mind it's a 4 man tourney if not a 1 man tourney depending on what Jordan does. Maybe the Masters starts on the back 9 on Sunday in many years at Augusta but this year the tourney started when Spieth decided to come out firing with an 8 under opening round. If he holds it together on the front 9 the drama could be stamped out this year especially if he has a 6 shot lead or more coming to hole #10.
My odds at winning tomorrow
Spieth 60% Mickelson 15% Rose 12% Hoffman 7%
Someone from the rest of the field 6% and alot of that percentage goes to Tiger and/or Rory.

If you are a spectator at Augusta there is a serious dilemma on which of these groups to follow.
Rory and Tiger: They are quite a ways back but does a group get much better than this
Phil and Charley: Charley isn't much of a draw but Phil is as popular as they come at Augusta and both are somewhat in contention
Rose and Spieth: The champ could very likely come from this group. A very solid and major champ Euro with possible the biggest rising star in the game in Jordan
That would be a big decision to make. I think if I was in the gallery I would have to do some flip flopping. Maybe start following Rory and Tiger at first and gradually make it to Phil and Charley for a couple of holes but ultimately settle for the final group all depending on how the leaderboard shapes up as the round progresses.

I think Rory and Tiger could make some noise. Enough for the TV to make it dramatic but they are too far back to win. Too many people in between. Too many people would have to play poorly with them shooting unbelievable rounds. Nothing is impossible but those bogeys at the end for both Tiger and Rory were killers. Taht up and down by Spieth for par on 18 was freaking amazine too!!!! wow!!!!
Thtat was a fun day of golf to watch though.

Not really much drama during the final round, morelike a coronation of the next generation of golf. Tiger didn't do much, Rory played well but was way too far back. Phil played ok but couldn't put major pressure on Jordan. Same could be said for Rose. He got within 3 once but after that Spieth simply turned it up a notch instead of getting nervous about the gap closing. I wish Spieth would have finished -20 which would have been a nice round number for a record breaking performance but instead will just have to settle for tying Woods instead. I can't believe that Woods said he dislocated his hand or wrist and had to pop it back into place. That certainly doesn't sound too pleasant.
Now #2 in the world is Spieth, the primary challenger to McIlroy's spot at #1.
