This is not a very good field. Tier 3 worthy for sure. This is the 5th straight tier 3 tourney. The PGA Championship is luckily the next tourney after this. Oak Hill another New York major unworthy golf course is the host. This course isn't as bad as some courses in the Empire State but still nothing special and I don't care how much history it has because established does not always make better. I have concluded that New York is the worst state for PGA golf courses and definitely the worst for major championship golf courses. This isn't quite as bad as Shinnicock as that is like growing grass in a parking lot with a few weeds involved. Another boring and disappointing selection by the PGA. OK back to Byron...
