The reason is because it has a full field and is not limited because of it being a major. This is probably the easiest of the big events to qualify for so the number of very good golfers is through the roof. The Golf course is in no other words "fantastic". So much water and so much risk. We are going to have to stay tuned for what to do regarding the subs. The first round is still not complete and play has been suspended for the day. They have already declared a Monday finish this early. I am guessing subs will probably not be due until before the first tee time on Sunday but that has yet to be determined so please check back here for more updates.
