Golf Tourney Discussions

So we have the Puerto Rico Open and some field analysis

Eric Axley - who has heard of this guy. He must be the guy running around with an Axe in the woods waiting to carve up some golfers or fans.

Jonathan Byrd - eligible for one tourney every 5 years and this is it. He was good like 10 years ago.

Will Cannon - he is on the super super super sleeper list. He ranks 234th on the list of sleepers to own.

Chris Couch - what the f**k is this guy doing out of his living room where he belongs. He had a good round in Wii golf and decided now was the time to give it a whirl.

Carlos Franco - was a PGA tour member in 1942. At 89 years old he is gonna test his longevity.

David Hearn - he isn't that bad but is definitely West Virginia woods scary looking

Mark Hensby - was barely even passable as a player at his very best. People have heard of him one time before.

Smylie Kaufman - any tourney that this guy is eligible for should not be sanctioned.

Hunter Mahan - he is so far past being good that he should just jump off the Puerto Rico parliment building.

Bryson Nimmer - DeChambeau is embarrassed that he shares a name with this guy.

Carl Pettersson - now when I talk Giorg, I really talk Giorg

Ian Poulter - this guys profile pic is wife beater scary looking

Omar Uresti - wasn't he on the senior tour like 20 years ago. He has got to be someone's great great Grand Pa.

Jay Don Blake and all the other alternates - are you f**king kidding me. They are not even good enough to be in this event. If I were these people I would demand that my name was not published. I think being on this list is almost as bad as being on the sex offender list.

I kind of like that course in Austin. Obviously the bridge that looks over the course is cool but how about #17. Multiple golfers have hit the green and had it spun off the left side and off a small rocky cliff. Now that is what it is all about. The ultimate risk reward.

McIlroy & Kuchar killing me right now.  

Hideki has played Augusta well for awhile, now...honestly was expecting him to contend, so not a surprise. But if he were to win...I do not think we can even imagine what it would be like for him, how he would be virtually worshiped in Japan. The significance of being the first Japanese (male) golfer to win a major...

My main concern...Xander worries me...too good, plus he was the guy I wanted least to be paired up with him. Still...if he just plays his usual game, he should pull through. He does not need to shoot 65 or 66 again. He has a string of ten straight rounds of par or better at Augusta going...if he shoots just par, it makes someone from the group at seven under have to shoot a 67 to beat him...shoot a 70, that becomes even more difficult.

With all the nerves and excitement...easier said than done...but if he just goes about the usual way, and avoids going Greg Norman is on Sunday...it will be tough for someone to overtake him. Fingers crossed.

sorry that I have been logging in under different names but on my phone I can't figure out the log in there like I can on my desktop. who is watching the Phoenix Open as it's actually an awesome event and as we all know the crowds are rockets and they boo the golfers which I think is funny as heck. looks like starting round 3 we have a hell of a leaderboard and many different guys can win this thing.
