Maybe this will heat up the discussion to get rid of the celebrities permanently. Or at least move the celebrities to a boring December event in Lake Tahoe that no one wants to watch anyway. How many golfers skip Pebble Beach because of that very reason. I know if I was a pro I would want to skip it. It is a major distraction to have them hacking up a beautiful golf course.

It was a different deal when you had guys like Bing, Bob Hope, Andy William's, and a few others...it added a fun element, but they were actually very serious about the game, charities, and the courses themselves.
