To get a little discussion going how about we keep a running list of who everyone thinks the top 5 fantasy golfers to own are? You can use any criteria you want but I will start with my first top 5 list. This can change at any time or be updated at any time.
My top 5
1. Justin Thomas - I had him raise to #1 after his win but I had him #2 before this week.
2. Bryson DeChambeau - He is a friggen animal. He is so damn long on every club. His putting isn't that shabby either. He was my #1 before JT got another win
3. Jon Rahm - Just came off a win at memorial and raised to #1 in the world for a week. He is consistant and brings his game in the big events as well.
4. Brooks Koepka - consistency is what keeps him at #4 and not higher.
5. Webb Simpson - this really should have been a top 4. I put him here because no one else made a big enough case to be above him. Hatton could easily be the guy to boot Webb.
others that have to be under consideration
Hatton, Morikawa, Schauffele

I believe JT and BD are a tier of their own right now. There is a gap between them and the rest.

I believe JT and BD are a tier of their own right now. There is a gap between them and the rest. You are right. Dont like either one of 'em. One of my most satisfying wins ever was Morikawa ho-hum rolling in that 23 footer after JT thought he had it won with his 55 foot prayer. Watching JT's old man gag was bonus.

JT BDC
Koepka Rahm
Rory (sorry, I still put him there)
Others: Webb, Schauffele, DJ, Rose (if he played more)

Wow we have some discussion, lets keep it up. Rory is so tricky for me. I get that he has talent etc. But he doesn't play very often and isn't quite like Koepka in the big tourneys. Sure he is highly regarded and I should have put him in my honorable mention list. DJ should have been mentioned as well. He wins once every year but he had a win this year already so there is no guarantee he will get another. Anyone that has him in their top 5 list I certainly can't argue against. Rose is always very consistant in the majors but doesn't play very often. I just hate having elite guys on my team that I can barely ever pencil in other than the majors and WGC's.

Fleetwood and Finau are two whom I think if they would just finally win one, you could easily see like a three-five year dominant period where they win multiple times. Including majors. Both have too much, not to do such, eventually.

I think Morikawa is definitely making a case for top 5 possibly even top 3 after his first major,Never (well almost never) misses a cut, not even finished his 2nd year and already has 3 victories and 9 top ten finishes in only 29 starts, this kid is the real deal and very likely will be ranked number one at some point in his career

This would be my new ranking
1) JT 2) DeChambeau 3) Morikawa 4) Rahm 5) Koepka (alot of his ranking is his how he does in majors and his sunday meltdown does not help him)
I do not think DJ is far from making this list as he would be my #6. #7 would probably be Collin Montgomery. Ha Ha

I will just add it is good to see Day playing like Day again...his best is right up there with anyone else's. That round at the U.S.Open, with full vertigo...fricin' God couldn't have done that. Anyway...good seeing him looking like he should, again.

Day picked up his game about the same time I traded him. He certainly is picking it up.

So Josh are you still going to ride that Hideki train next year or is it going to be back to prioritizing Day again. You almost have to go back to your roots again.

We will see...always want to have both, if possible-- without going too crazy price-wise. We will see...just glad seeing Jason looking like his old self, again.
