I am feeling a little bit left out. I don't have a single player of the top 20 ranked but that is kind of how my team is built, for the smaller events. I will show those experts ;-)
I just hope the weather cooperates a little more this week. The Honda was kind of a disaster.

I have been in either last place or 2nd to last place both seasons I have played at this point and finished 1st and 2nd. I am actually concerned I am 4th right now.  It is a long season and big points are available starting this week. |

Couple things: Matt...your roster is too solid...you will start getting results....just a matter if time. Like Aaron said...long season.This year is actually unique for me because I often start lukewarm because I usually don't have my main guys playing in most of the West Coast swing...but Day playing some helped a lot...Koepka as well. I always have played for the "meat" of the schedule...especially the big events...All which are still ahead of us. I have won once...and was second by a thread to Aaron...and I tend to not jump out quickly...you will see even what one big tourney like the Masters can do if you can have three or four (or even FIVE) of your guys near the top, and get 850 points for the week. |

I have two in top 20 and look at me...just another bottom feeder. My big guns have been dismal so far so...we will see..

Aaah another week in Florida. Water, water and more water. A few bunkers, a few palm trees and prestine fairways and greens that actually look green and not brown. It's good that they moved the Players to May but when it was still in late March the Florida swing really rocked.

About the "Expert's" picks ... sheepdom again. AT least the latter few in the group, mixed it up a LITTLE...but first four or five not only pick same guy ---but their foursomes have the same three of four guys, (In this particular tourney, it is Bubba, DJ, and Reed). Listen --- we all UNDERSTAND, picking someone who has a strong history at a given site, AND?OR is playing well heading in ...so they are not BAD picks ...quite the opposite. However , you have every week, some who contend, who are not the alpha-alpha's...hell, some even ranked 297th in the world...(twice)  . Now THIS tourney...has virtually ONLY alphas ... and you really think there are really just 5 or 6 real contenders, and you all have three of the same four guys in your foursomes? Geez, there are other main contenders ---mix it up a little, for crying out loud...hell, even pick a "wild card" now and again. I mean..at least most at pgatour.com at least know SOME things .... Mike Collins at ESPN ---- the feats he must have had to perform ---and on WHOM ---to get the swell position/job he has... because he doesn't know golf.  Anyway ... would be nice to see some variety with the picks --some ample support and reasons of why a few more could walk away with the title. |

Josh, I think you should run a new weekly segment. You could do a breakdown but pick like the 3 or 4 you think are favorites. I'd read it. Just don't make it a pay site. LOL

Interesting it looks like Mr. Adam Scott will likely be using the short putter this week. Will be interesting to watch him putt this week especially if he gets in contention late. He had moved to the long putter years back because his putter was the only thing holding him back a bit.
