Pete Dye has passed away. He designed one of the greatest courses in the world and second only to possibly Augusta National. The Stadium Course at Sawgrass hosting the Players Championship is one of the greatest courses ever designed. Just awesome. He also designed Hilton Head in South Carolina which is also a very nice course. He designed courses that I liked. He was all about risk reward and that is how I believe golf should be played.
