I am assuming this is the Bryon Nelson Axe Throwing Classic in Nova Scotia, Canada. Isn't that right. Whether Axe throwing or Golf this is a lowly tier 3 event that has an extremely appalling field. Speaking of Axe's they do need to Axe this tourney from the schedule. I am declaring it now. Texas is only allowed 2 events on tour. One in the Dallas Fort Worth metro and the other somewhere more southern, preferable by bringing the Shell Houston Open back. Colonial and Shell and that should be it. No Austin, No San Antonio, No nothing other than 2 events. Texas is no California or Florida when it comes to golf. I have nothing against Texas, I really don't. It is a nice state but ya know what they say about Steers and Queers. The madness must end immediately, but for now we carry on against our will.

I can be less diplomatic about Texas, Eric...but to be a bit fair...as we just saw with the Wells Fargo...this changing of the overall schedule is going to take some getting used to in several ways. Players likely will take some time getting used to how to set their schedules...some tourneys gain some from being in a better spot on the calendar...others seem to maybe lose some emphasis, even though they have a nice course. Wells Fargo deserves better...and this tourney always was at least a solid one...but now with thing compacted the way they are...
