Just to make double-sure...subs are to be made before tee-times Saturday...in this case after completion of the initial three matches/ group play which will then leave sixteen golfers for Saturday. In this, while you might have a golfer who does NOT move on, you might still wish to sub a player on your bench who went. 2-1 in his matches over an initial starter who wound up 0-3.

Also, Tim ...make sure you check your email, Thanks That would be correct assuming the round robin concludes on Friday, which it is scheduled to do. The subs are due before the first tee time of the round of 16 playoffs which will almost certainly be on Saturday morning. As far as my guys getting stuck in the same group, I can't actually remember the last time that happened because I usually don't have many guys in this tourney. If I did have 3 guys in the same group I would be extremely happy if I was the other golfer in that group cause his advancement would be guaranteed. Jordan Spieth should and I stress SHOULD be pretty good at this type of an event. He seems to have about 2 holes that are double bogeys or worse and probably about 7 or 8 birdies. |
