This is the same message I sent out a few minutes ago via e-mail.
Since we have 2 tourneys this coming week I want to clarify the rules in advance.
Each event is treated completely separate of each other. Each event costs the $2.00 starting lineup and each event is allowed up to 3 subs a piece with each sub costing the $2.00 like usual. All golfers added prior to each event (first tee time) will be able to count for that event. All golfers that are dropped can be used for subs in or out as long as that golfer is dropped after the first tee time of that particular event.
The Desert Classic in LaQuinta CA is our normal event and will be a tier 3 event in scoring. The event starts Thursday Jan 17th. The tee times have yet to be released but they are often at 6AM local time which would be 8AM Central. That is purely a guess at this point.
The Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship will be held in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates and will start on Wednesday Jan 16th and appears to be 10 hours ahead of Central Time. So if the first tee time is 6AM local time that it would be 8PM Central time on Tuesday Night so be prepared to get your lineups in plenty early to avoid a missed lineup penalty. It would be best just to get your lineup in before you go to bed Monday jut to make sure. Lineups can always be changed at no cost prior to the first tee time if need be.

I want to reiterate how the rules will work for the Masters and the U.S. Open. Both of those events will be double point events to keep the Players Championship and British Open points in play. If any particular team wants to only play regular points instead of double points that team must clarify their intentions prior to the first tee time of the event in question. Most teams will elect to play the double points. For that all transactions will be doubled. Lineups will be 4.00 and Subs 4.00 a piece. If anyone wants to play single points than lineups will be 2.00 and subs 2.00. This would be in play for anyone that wants to save salary cap space otherwise it would make no sense.
