This is the same format that Eric used last year after the draft to get some discussion going. If you so desire here are some topics...
1. What is your option on the draft itself and how it was run logistically? Any changes next year?
2. How did your strategy playout vs the reality of the draft?
3. What were some of the golfers you were glad to get or some that you are not sure you should have drafted?
4. Which golfers did you wish you would have drafted that got away?
5. What golfers from other teams did you feel were steals for other teams and which golfers drafted period did you think went too high?
6. Other comments

1) I was happy with how the draft went. I think the technology worked well and was easier for everyone to follow along. I think in previous years it was hard to know how much money owners had left and made it tougher to strategize. Near the end when Ryan helped lead the draft things moved quicker and that is probably something I would suggest next year. In the background I was maintaining a list of drafted golfers/etc to prevent duplicates and it was hard for me to manage everything so the auction was slower than it needed to be.
2) I didn't have much of a game plan other than to make sure I got Rickie Fowler so my kids wouldn't be disappointed! I was able to acquire a number of players I targeted for reasonable prices so I was mostly done pretty early.
3) Sneds, Hadley, and Streelman were guys going into the draft I wanted to get. Was happy to get them and for good prices. Going in I never considered Oosthuizen because he has been fighting some injuries but his upside got me to pull the trigger. So he is probably my biggest ?
4) Jason Day, but I know with Josh around that is near impossible. Nick Watney is a guy I thought I might be able to get for cheap on a rebound year but Eric was all over that. I was disappointed that I didn't have any fire power left to make Josh bid higher on Stenson, but he sort of did that himself anyways. LOL
5) One from each team...Ryan Moore always under appreciated, Martin Kaymer at 40, Brendon Todd at 15, Ryan Palmer at 16, Woodland at 24, DJ at 35 (seriously stealing), McDowell at 20, Spieth at 78, Blixt at 5, Schwartzel 26
6) I am surprised that Sergio Garcia finally went for 69. Way undervalued the first 2 seasons I have been in this league.

1. What is your option on the draft itself and how it was run logistically? Any changes next year? Loved the new format and the updated spreadsheet was a great addition. Maybe a 45 sec time limit on snake draft pics? 2. How did your strategy playout vs the reality of the draft? Was hoping to grab one of the top studs e.g. Rory or Scott but they went for big dough so that blew my stud strategy. I think I was a bit gun shy after running shout of bucks last year. 3. What were some of the golfers you were glad to get or some that you are not sure you should have drafted? Happy with all my pics. Missed some but feel good about the guys I got. 4. Which golfers did you wish you would have drafted that got away? Other than the studs, Ben Martin, Webb Simpson, Dufner, come to mind. Oh yeah, and Westwood. 5. What golfers from other teams did you feel were steals for other teams and which golfers drafted period did you think went too high? Would have to look back over the draft results but thought that a few of the "B" studs went for big dough. Might work out for those teams though. 6. Other comments Fantastic draft and love everyone in the league this year. Especially that one league member... Great job Aaron!

This is the same format that Eric used last year after the draft to get some discussion going. If you so desire here are some topics... 1. What is your option on the draft itself and how it was run logistically? Any changes next year? Once we had Josh on board... extremely smooth. 2. How did your strategy playout vs the reality of the draft? Strategy went as planned, just different golfers in the 'slots'. Ex: Wanted Tiger, Furyk, Matsuyama 1-2-3.... drafted Watson, Walker, Haas.... Rory (really wanted, who didn't) was the 'wild card'. 3. What were some of the golfers you were glad to get or some that you are not sure you should have drafted? Very pleased to get Harman and Kokrak for the price I did. 4. Which golfers did you wish you would have drafted that got away? Many. Love Rory, Kuchar, Furyk, Matsuyama, Reed, Henley. << notes to trade partners, lol. 5. What golfers from other teams did you feel were steals for other teams and which golfers drafted period did you think went too high? Haven't studied the draft results enough yet, for a firm opinion. 6. Other comments Was proud of the newbs, and the new commish. Got my 'sentimental faves' (Els and Harman) for pennies on the dollar... so happy 4 that. I hope everyone has as much fun in this league as I have.

This is the same format that Eric used last year after the draft to get some discussion going. If you so desire here are some topics... 1. What is your option on the draft itself and how it was run logistically? Any changes next year? The web meeting thing went nicely and it was nice to have the league file up so everyone could view it during the draft. 2. How did your strategy playout vs the reality of the draft? I wanted Horschel but did not get him. I probably fell out of the bidding too soon. I got alot of the players I like so I am happy with that. I figured I would get Bradley a little cheaper this year but I paid $78.00 which is what I paid last year. I was happy to get Moore for $35.00. I was pleasantly suprised to get Mahan for $42 and Streb for $10.00. I ended up underspending by about $40 in the auction so I could have had a nice upgrade somewhere on my roster that went unfullfilled. 3. What were some of the golfers you were glad to get or some that you are not sure you should have drafted? I maybe should not have drafted Blayne Barber. 4. Which golfers did you wish you would have drafted that got away? Webb Simpson, Jason Dufner, Russell Henley, Luke Donald, Ben Martin, Jordan Spieth, Brandt Snedeker 5. What golfers from other teams did you feel were steals for other teams and which golfers drafted period did you think went too high? 6. Other comments

1. What is your option on the draft itself and how it was run logistically? Any changes next year? Being a newbie, I thought it was great fun and so "user-friendly"! Very easy to participate and the spreadsheet was a real bonus! If I am to suggest one change, I would add the names of everyone under their team names! But, all in all, way to go!
2. How did your strategy playout vs the reality of the draft? I didn't have any strategy other then get through the draft!
3. What were some of the golfers you were glad to get or some that you are not sure you should have drafted? Time will tell!
4. Which golfers did you wish you would have drafted that got away? Time will tell!
5. What golfers from other teams did you feel were steals for other teams and which golfers drafted period did you think went too high? Too new to comment!
6. Other comments Looking forward to the competition and fun!

This is the same format that Eric used last year after the draft to get some discussion going. If you so desire here are some topics... 1. What is your option on the draft itself and how it was run logistically? Any changes next year? Good stuff man, finally a format that worked for everyone once Josh got on, good idea! 2. How did your strategy playout vs the reality of the draft? About as planned, had some guys in mind and was about consistent with my strategy in years past. I could have went more on a couple guys and kind of got stuck with Paul Casey as I was just tossing him out hoping someone would go $2.00 on him but not the worst blunder. 3. What were some of the golfers you were glad to get or some that you are not sure you should have drafted? Love my top 4, Kuch, DJ, Reed and Mats....DeLeat was a nice price at $19 IMO so happy there too. Feel my depth might be a little light compared to years past but probably felt that before around this time of year too. 4. Which golfers did you wish you would have drafted that got away? Wish I would have kept going on Jordan Speith. Getting Kuch for $76 made up for that slightly but was someone I really targeted that didn't go hard enough. Justin Rose was another missed opportunity. Jimmy Walker was a target, Chris Kirk, Bill Haas, Gary Woodland....sure there is others 5. What golfers from other teams did you feel were steals for other teams and which golfers drafted period did you think went too high? I will look more in a bit and have a better opinion on that. Perhaps all of Nibe's roster went for too much though 6. Other comments Good stuff and excited we kept the league together. Newbies seem engaged and ready to rumble. Really like the forum idea versus a bunch of emails too. Easier for everyone to follow....especially Commish.

1. What is your option on the draft itself and how it was run logistically? Any changes next year? I really liked the webex format. Having the spreadsheet to see how many golfers each person had and salary remaining was a big help. Should have been a bigger help than it was. lol 2. How did your strategy playout vs the reality of the draft? I have to say it didn't go as planned. Last year so many golfers went for really high early I sort of expected those top guns to do the same thing. Thus, when I saw the bidding slow for Rory I jumped in even though I really hadn't planned on it. I was actually targeting Rickie with that first pick for me. So, the 98 was high but not a huge issue. I wanted a guy like Furyk and got him. May have overpaid a little based on age. Ryan Palmer was not a target, just happened to end up with him. Either was Victor D. Over estimated how much Hiss would pay for him and ultimately ended up with him. Have already gotten trade requests from Hiss though. I had some other guys like Chris Kirk and Hadeley targeted but once I got Victor and Palmer it sort of messed up how I could manage my cap. I also wanted to go for some of the young rookies like Hadwin and Ortiz etc. They went way earlier than I had imagined. I ended up with a few more people on my team that I have had previously but when I was trying to work and do the draft it was way more difficult than I anticipated. I was not paying attention to other peoples picks in the snake portion. So, ended up reverting to players I know vs being able to look for some other options. 3. What were some of the golfers you were glad to get or some that you are not sure you should have drafted? Glad to get Rory even though I wasn't targeting him. I like Furyk, Westwood and Molinari. Have a couple players I don't know much about but because I couldn't take the time to really look through my lists while I was working during the snake portion, I went with the highest world ranked guys I could grab. 4. Which golfers did you wish you would have drafted that got away? Rickie or Spieth and about 4 or 5 in the middle I had sort of wanted but couldn't go after. 5. What golfers from other teams did you feel were steals for other teams and which golfers drafted period did you think went too high? Havne't taken the time to look 6. Other comments Seems like everyone ended up in a very similar cap spot. You can tell people are getting more consistent with that portion. Looks like Tim has the lowest amount left. I can't remember how much Nibe had left at the beginning last year when he had salary cap issues during the season? That has to be close though I would think.

1. What is your option on the draft itself and how it was run logistically? Any changes next year?
great format. suggest maybe having tighter time limits on initial draft as it got slow for awhile but extremely happy with this..Big cudos to Aaron
2. How did your strategy playout vs the reality of the draft?
I was able to get some of who I targeted but others went much higher priced. I went in trying to get two power players and I think I did that. I think my list was very similar to Ryan's as he was in on alot of who I had targeted.
3. What were some of the golfers you were glad to get or some that you are not sure you should have drafted?
Spieth and Rose. "Took some chances on potential later on..(jason gore)
4. Which golfers did you wish you would have drafted that got away?
Kuch, Mats, Ishikawa
5. What golfers from other teams did you feel were steals for other teams and which golfers drafted period did you think went too high? haven't had chance to look yet.
6. Other comments
I love the format but wonder if something could be done for commish to be able to participate easier..I think he was caught up a few times trying to bid and also do countdown, etc...but kudos to him...I could not have done this near as well as he did

This is the same format that Eric used last year after the draft to get some discussion going. If you so desire here are some topics... 1. What is your option on the draft itself and how it was run logistically? Any changes next year? This is my first year being in the draft however I felt like things went very smoothly. 2. How did your strategy playout vs the reality of the draft? Strategy went very well. Had a few key guys that I wanted to target...other than that I based my picks on the value I had in mind for a player and went for value picks. 3. What were some of the golfers you were glad to get or some that you are not sure you should have drafted? Very glad to have picked up Tiger and Duff Daddy. I like to think everyone on my team is there for a reason 4. Which golfers did you wish you would have drafted that got away? Justin Rose 5. What golfers from other teams did you feel were steals for other teams and which golfers drafted period did you think went too high? I'll have to go look at the draft recap however I can tell personally I bid too much on JB Holmes. Bidding was starting at $1 for players and I tossed out JB for $5. Newbie mistake..Every dollar counts 6. Other comments
