" I knew this would be the case so I refrained from drinking throughout (which is unprecedented)." "Wanted Hoffman cheap but didn’t get to the keyboard quick enough due to some type of distraction…. Probably alcohol withdrawal." Draft with me next year, sisyphus. I've got the alcohol/pick ratio down pat.

This league is about many factors and is very strategic. I think we have really refined the rules to really have a sweet set of rules to allow many different strategies for one to try.
People can be ectastic, luke warm or hating on their rosters but one thing that is very hard to do is as follows. Who is able to do everything listed below and check off all boxes
1) Spend 250.00 or less on the auction to keep team flexibility throughout the year. 2) Get the elite #1 golfer at the top of your roster. 3) Get a very comperable #2 that is a top 10 type player or very close to it. 4) Round out spots 3-7 with very solid players to compliment the elite.
Doing all four of those things is very difficult to accomplish if not impossible. I think #1 is important and the most underrated aspect of a team. I did well on 1 and 2, did horrible on 3 and am hopeful but it remains to be seen on #4. When it comes to 2 and 3 Josh comes to mind as he put the gold coating on those two spots. Our defending champ is not being talked about much so far post draft. He obviously nailed #2, was close on #1 and #3 but I think he nailed #4. Ditto what I said about Ryan with Tim's team. If you combine #2 and #3 together Aaron, Rich and Dan doubled down on those spots but will be hurting with #1. Matt M and Matt S both really took care of 1,3 and 4. I think it's gonna be a hell of a year and all teams seem as even as I ever remember seeing. There could really be a cluster in the standings. One thing that never seems to happen is to have 3 or 4 teams all right at the top without a team running away from the pack.
