I will be out of town until Wednesday of next week. I will try to get a line-up in but just a heads up if I don't. I can't remember the rules off the top of my head but pretty sure you go with the top ranked people anyway?

order of your team on the spreadsheet. So the first 5 golfers in the field on your roster are in. Which is your auction players most likely.

Just start a thread early and put your top 5 guys in the lineup. Will make it easier on Eric and you will be safe with your top guys in.

I don't know if I would submit a lineup of just any 5 guys on a roster not knowing if they are playing or not. If that happened technically the alternate would only replace one of those golfers. If there are any golfers in the lineup that are not starting after that there is no rule that says that as commissioner that I would take those players out of a lineup and just replace them with others on the roster. I would think the players already submitted on a starting lineup would get a zero instead or being replaced by someone that is not listed as an alternate.
The easiest way to do this would be just not to submit a starting lineup rather than just throwing in 5 random golfers not knowing whether or not they are starting the tourney or not. I guess subs could be used to replace golfers that are stuck as actives but not playing that week.
Gosh what is it lately with all the rule interpretations.

Gosh what is your deal lately with going off on tangents and making assumptions. I didn't provide any interpretation except an accurate one about the Top 5 guys listed on your roster being auto in. This is a World Golf Championship event and it isn't too hard to know who is playing in this ahead of time with the exception of a few that will drop out. If it were me I would just post the 5 guys I want and deal w/ it if 1 or 2 decide not to play. It makes it easy for you which is all I was trying to do. Next time I will just be quiet. Sigh

What we DO need to discuss soon,is the week of the Olympics, and how that will be scored. The John Deere "Classic", also is that week...will that be getting points as well?
