In what I consider the toughest golf tournament of the year we are at the Open Championship for the United States of America, the home of relevant golf. Enough of the links experiment of a year ago as most golfers would consider last year a pretty big disaster overall. Of course at this great tournament the first cut of rough is waist high and the subsequent cuts are somewhere around the bill of the cap in height. I think it's a fairly common belief that ya better keep it in the fairway to win this tourney. Accuracy might actually be a hair more important than putting in this one but the purist of golf will never put another aspect of golf ahead of putting so maybe I am just being a little too crazy with that thought.
