...and as Eric stated, more big ones shortly after. Bubba is still available...might be prudent for some to make some (reasonable) offers to give a needed jolt to your team prior to all these big events...just some food for thought.  |

MATTHEW... *LOL* I already am offering Bubba, which speaks for itself. Seeing how you have been adding your own two cents worth frequently, perhaps you'd like to get in on things by throwing Oostey into the mix. If not, then let Dan discuss his own thoughts...ALONE.

I was talking about a three or four team trade...but Oostey...need to pair someone like Lee or Grillo with him...that would be interesting,then. Seriously...you act as if I am not offering up a Top Five player here...I certainly am paying decently in order to get a Hideki, or Oostey, or whomever else...it isn't like I am shoving Kokrak or Will McGirt trying to get such a player. |

Just because I am making Bubba available, doesn't mean like it is some going out of business sale, "everything must go"...lol. I have a few players I like, that I would be willing to part with Bubba in acquiring such. Hideki is Target Numerous Uno... Oostey is like #2... hell, Scott and Garcia would be up there as well. Bob has Casey --- and so forth. I have a strong team already, and do not NEED to make any drastic changes, so I can afford to be particular. Unfortunately, you are in a similar position, so YOU don't need to make any changes either--- thus, the likelihood getting one of those three from you is remote. Dan holding Hideki howver... Anyway...got it?  |

Not necessarily...you know as well as I...Draft Day, especially early on, the salaries are high. We each should be able to afford at least two big salaries of our choosing. You did a superb job of getting value on three or four guys who while not cheap, also were not as expensive as they could have been. With me...Day always will be priority #1, and an expensive one. Stenson has been my #2 the past couple years. That sort of takes me off adding any more expensive guys....will try for solid depth to maybe gain another upper tier or two in trades down the road. MAYBE you can squeeze a third guy...and I at least tried for Hideki...but I already had the other two. So...unless Bubba was my top two personal guys...hard to get him. Same with others here... Ryan wants DJ, Aaron wants Fowler, Eric made Spieth his top priority...Rory was Bob's... Rose gets a lot of attention, and so on. I like Bubba...wouldn't have traded for him if in the end, he stays put...and he WILL produce...there is no doubt there. Like I said... I have a very small handful of guys I am willing to even make Bubba possibly available...and that has more to my own personal cheering preferences, than performances, since all the guys mentioned produce. Anyway...like I also said...unless you have something to add concerning Oostey, Garcia, or Scott to the mix, let Dan speak on behalf of Hideki. Lol

Like you know....Jordan was #1 but decided not to go as high as Eric, #2 was Rory.

Thing is...I have my range. Someone might try to bid me up...but then I could stop bidding, and leave the other player with the bill. Then he/she will have Jason, and a bunch of also rans. Then later on I will trade for him, anyway. Or...I could still cheer for him to win, but have my guys finish all in Top Ten in the tourneys and still get most points for the week. There are many ways to make your eggs after they are cracked...it just is that we all have our preferences. Realistically, I doubt anyone else is willing to pay for Jason what I am willing to pay. I know similar cases with Fowler, DJ, etc...but similarly, they have their limits, as well.
