Ummm...well, one is currently #4 in the official world rankings, and the other is #14. One has two green jackets, the other has yet to win a major. Both have won this year...ANYWAY...personal feelings aside...I think your comment was a tad facetious. Honestly, though...this is someone whom you rarely going to see being made available. None of the others around him ranking-wise are going to be available/traded, and unlike with most others, where you'd need to give a big package just for consideration, I am not really seeking much in that regard. |

I know what you are doing...but will answer, since I have already stated this many times over the past few years, so it really isn't a surprise to anyone. Yes, in fantasy leagues you try to form a team of players who get desired results.However, you often also want to get players you personally like and naturally support and pull for as well. THAT is paramount for me...you will never for instance, see Patrick Reed on my team...don't care that he is almost a Top Ten type player. That said....it is STILL like the NFL Draft...there is certain VALUE of certain players. If the team picking at #4 really likes a player most who is slated to go in the mid teens....they don't just do a swap with the team...they STILL get the value of that player/pick. Seriously...we are not talking about some up and Comer whom some might see as the next best thing, while others think he might be overrated...these are proven guys...and Bubba is a known product. I have absolutely no problem with him on my team/roster, but Hideki just happens to be one of my top 4-5 guys overall, and Bubba is a means ...a very NICE, SWEET means of acquiring him. Also, whereas some teams likely would have Bubba as THE stud and center of their team...I already have Day and Stenson...so thus have the leeway to dangle a Bubba. It would be similar going after Oostey with you. There. Stop acting cute now, and Dan is a big boy who can discuss matters on his own. Unless you wish to discuss Oostey or Garcia as part of something, please refrain from further "devil's advocate" type questions concerning trading Bubba. lol |
