This lack of trading has got to be driving you crazy.  I'm sticking with Oostey. I don't need numbers/volume. All I would be doing at that point would be exchanging golfers at the same level and getting rid of Oostey which wouldn't make much sense. |

While many of us are so used to each others' styles and favorite players,etc. ---thus we can make funny remarks at each other's expense ;p. It isn't like I do not offer value...plus have even helped others get the players they wanted from OTHER teams. There IS some merit in quantity as well...particularly in bigger events. As much as it can be lean many regular weeks only having 5-7 guys even in the event, I like having my 12-13 guys in events like this past week. Besides...EVERYONE in that event was quality...I don't go offering any guys ranked 30th in the world rankings who only has like six decent tourneys during the season, all in small events. Matt's team this year really isn't in need depthwise...so the bid for an Oostey or Scott or Garcia is tough because he already has that depth and balance. Some others who maybe only have a couple main guys, and a limited roster for majors and other big events, it might be worth parting with one of their top guys to have a couple more options in those events.

You have made some decent offers. But, at the same time a trade has more to it than getting my guy. You also have to factor in who the other guy is getting and how strong that team is. Playing keep away. Like trading a good player within your division in football.

B bGroooan...lol. Well, I keep trying, but with Matt, I know it is difficult. If you had but Oostey and Lee...maybe a couple medium guys...it would be possible. You did an outstanding job getting some guys at solidly affordable prices, and thus you are not just with one or two very good guys, but a handful. You don't need what I could offer, because you in a sense already have that as well. Some others...maybe there comes a point in the season where they have to do something, and not just have all their eggs in one or two baskets. Obviously, Day is my ultimate weapon I count on...but I have many others who can and do contribute on a high level. I mean 14 of my 16 are ranked 95th or better in this week's rankings...that means they all do some big things to get there. Anyway...in the draft...Day will always cost me Fort Knox, and I usually (like most of us) at the very least have a second big salary guy...then try to round out things as cost effectively as possible, while still hopefully adding studs. Stenson is it...and Grace I got as a bargain. My foreign players...it is double-sided because of the limited tournaments they are available...but often when they do play...
