So it's now been confirmed that myself and Ryan Moore are tying the knot on Thursday after a brief falling out. I know where my heart lies, LOL

Tim trades Bubba Watson and Tony Finau to Josh for Branden Grace, Smylie Kaufman, and Chris Kirk. I do feel some sadness...I like Grace, and Smylie has been a pleasant surprise for me...but this was an opportunity that doesn't come around often, so we will see. The trade does create a bit of confusion with the rules regarding the salary cap costs and roster additions. Trades themselves cost $1 a piece for each player acquired. Since Josh traded away 3 players and only acquired 2 he will now only have 15 players on his roster. Josh will be charged $2 for the two players he acquired in the trade. This will create an open roster spot for Josh. Since he has already added the 3 additional roster spots to get to 16 he will only be charged $2 for the next played added. For Tim he has two salary cap requirements to be met. Since he traded for 3 players he will be charge $3 for those 3 players acquired. He will also be charged an additional $5 because of the rule that requires $5 for each player that gets added expanding the roster beyond 13. I hope everyone can understand this complete transaction.

*Applauds* Nice....can understand both sides for the trade, and makes things just a bit interesting. Now with both DJ and Reed (and even the overrated Walker) Ryan has the most annoying roster by far! ;D. Seriously though, neat trade.

I get home last Friday after work, about 20 mins of golf coverage left, turn on the golf channel to watch the end. First I checked the 'puter and COOL, Reed had low round of the day, now 2 strokes off the lead, tied for 4th or 5th. Problem was, he was on 17, he had 18 to play. I watched one hole that day... and sho' nuff, my 'top golfer' triples the last hole (could have been higher). He's dead to me. Given my luck history in this league, Reed & Walker will both post top 5's this week. Bank on it.  |
