I had Rory last year and it really makes you realize how little he plays over here. You see him in the news all the time but so many times he plays across the pond. I'll be curious to see if Spieth continues to play as much as he has. That dude plays A LOT it seems.

Rory does play away a lot...but was hurt as well. THAT is what kills...especially with having main foreign players on a roster. Being that every year I have a bulk of them, that always is something I hope will not enter the equation. The past five years we have done this league...I have a first, two seconds, and a third. The only year I did not place, was when serious injuries/illness effected my team...Oostey had his issues, Day had some...etc. At least Rory when healthy plays here enough, including the FedEx Cup...that is big. That is a big plus for me with Stenson...and at least for now, a slight disappointment with Grace, since he will not be playing in those last four tourneys. You add an illness or injury where you then miss out on any key starts you WERE expecting them to play... it hits you hard. Certainly, that adds to Spieth's worth in this league.. (and also why he was/is the perfect pick for Eric, regardless of the price)...he thus far still plays so much.. even that little dipshit John Deere...lol. As long as heakthy, though...having Rory should pay off for you, way more than be a detriment.  |

for those that don't know if someone does not turn their lineup in by the first tee time of the tournament they are obligated to take a forced lineup which consists of the top 5 golfers on the roster page plus the alternate that are playing in that week's tourney. Everyone gets 5 instances where they are allowed to have the forced lineups if they forget to submit a lineup.
