Phoenix Open Power Rankings - This is one of the funnest tourney's to watch all year. If a golfer comes into this one and has soft skin they will probably not do very well.
1) Bubba Watson - good pick for the top spot and he has a good history as well
2) Brandt Snedeker - coming off a win but might get confused having next to no wind in the desert
3) Brooks Koepka - making his fantasy league debut and knows what it is like to succeed amongst the cacti
4) Hideki Matsuyama - hard to argue against these top 4 so far. Top 5's in two consecutive years here
5) Kevin Kisner - he has become money and deserves this ranking
6) Jason Dufner - could be comeback player of the year if his trend continues and he wasn't even in the auction, crazy
7) Ryan Moore - love the guy but hasn't played much so I think he will take a week to get back in the swing of things
8) Rickie Fowler - I would move ahead of Moore but other than that the top 6 are hard to replace
9) Ryan Palmer - trending fairly well but I am not quite ready to put him in top 10 but I would put closer to 15
10) David Lingmerth - sorry Josh but I am not ready to put him in my top 10 just yet
11) Kevin Na - solid pick for this slot in the rankings
12) Webb Simpson - see #10, not a believer just yet
13) Martin Laird - haven't seen him in the rankings for awhile - Prolly gotta move him down
14) Charles Howell III - other might like him a little more than I do but I hope I am wrong
15) Zach Johnson - is this event big enough to get his juices stirring. I say it is big and he should be in the top 15.
Not ranked but deserve mention
K.J. Choi - is he ready for a quick comeback, based on last week he may be.
Emiliano Grillo - a guy I wish I had and could start playing lights out golf any week
Adam Hadwin - can he regain his form from the Career Builder
Russell Henley - just seems like he should have one of those top 15 slots
J.B. Holmes - solid player that is always a good bet for a top 20 finish
Bill Horschel - he hasn't showed a pulse for weeks but might be ready for a win before disappearing for another 4-6 months
Chris Kirk - where ever he plays is always a threat
Justin Thomas - doesn't seem like he has really begun his season yet
My top 5
1) Bubba Watson
2) Brooks Koepka
3) Hideki Matsuyama
4) Rickie Fowler
