Well...when I saw Eric's comments earlier this week, I just shook my head, and knew Lingmerth was going to have a very strong week. This is for everyone. I like to poke fun at golfers and that definitely includes my own as well. I don't mean to offend anyone by my comments. They are meant for a laugh just as much as they are to be serious. I was obviously wrong with Lingmerth this week as he was solid.

Lingmerth has more than proven his mettle over the past several months. If he was an American, playing how he has the second half of last year, and now, he likely would be on Eric's team...but since he is a Swede, and NOT Robert Streb, or similar, he doesn't receive the Eric Love. Hehehe I am not necessarily anti Euro or any other particular country. It happens to be that I don't like alot more Euro golfers than American's but I like plenty of non American golfers. I have 12 of 14 American Golfers on my roster but one of the biggest reasons I draft them is that they play on the American Tour alot. When it comes to tennis players I actually like many foreign players. I think the tennis commentators falsely hype many of the American tennis players that never panned out. When watching the Ryder Cup as an American cheering for the USA it creates a little more animosity towards the Euro's and a little more favoritism towards the Americans. That is just how it is living in America. Eventhough Europe has done well in the Ryder Cups I think there is still a tendency to think that Europeans are not as good as Americans in general even if it is a myth. If you list the top 10 golfers or all time I would bet that at least 8 of them would be Americans. Jack, Arnold, Tiger and now Jordan who has seemingly passed up Rory. Whether that continues we will see.
