LMAO, if it goes by standings, I'm fucked.
That said though, is there a rolling waiver order?
Should go like most snake drafts and be setup in reverse, 10-1 at the beginning of the season.
To do standings isn't fair to any of the leaders really.

I was considering adding Vijay for this week...but then Pieters was dropped unexpectedly ( after NEXT week, I would have understood the drop  )...had to gp after him. Ryan, I love ya...but you're a jerk...lmao. |

Plus, your Olympic quandary ... well, I don't think Matt, or anyone else feels much differently than I do. Even Pieters...he is solid...could see him finishing decently...but to challenge for a win....or a medal...hmmm. There is one kind of Wild Card still available...partially because he is pretty decent, partially due to perhaps being used to the general atmosphere.

Here is the relevant rule as it is written on the rule sheet.

For all dropped golfers there will be a 3 day waiting period before that golfer is able to be added to another roster including being added to the roster of the team that dropped them. In the 3 day waiting period if more than one team wants to add the golfer they will be awarded to the team with the lowest points in the standings of the week during which the golfer was dropped. The team that drops the golfer will automatically be placed at the end of the priority waiver order to avoid teams simply dropping a golfer knowing they will be able to pick up that golfer later. Once the golfer has been on waivers for 72 hours the time they will be able to be picked up is 11PM of that day.

I think we need to throw that in the rules discussion for next year.
Not sure why it isn't set up in reverse order of the snake draft like every other waiver in every other league. Unless we use a blind bid system, which would be cool too. Blind bid for 2-3 days and then said player is a free agent after that available for immediate pickup should nobody place a bid on him.

Well...I am glad at least the rule is there that the guy dropping goes to last on waiver, because that could be abused to easily. Blind bid sounds good for next year. Well, we have three interested...but at least you have the other tourney to get points in, and knowing how things have been going, Rahm will probably win next week, so regardless of my probable high points in the Olympics, I will wind up gaining minimally, due to Rahm winning the John Deere. .pthth..can see it now. Grumble....lol

It's been this way ever since the rule was written. It helps the teams lower in the standings and I have no problem with this regardless of where my team stands. I don't think we have ever had two teams request the same golfer during the time frame after they were dropped. |
