This is the first of the Fed Ex Cup Playoff Push. It's a tier 2 sprint to the finish line. Last year after slipping for most of the second half of the season I was able to get it together and score well during the Fed Ex Cup Playoffs. I have repeated the second half slipping and want to also repeat the success of the playoffs. My team is built well for this despite not being necessarily built well for majors. I am lucky to have all 16 playing in this event. Horschel carried me last year and need a similar hero this time around. I need a major push to try to get back into the money slots in the standings. For extremely over rated Keegan Bradley to even come close to his ridiculous $78 price he is going to have to finish in the top 5 of all of these events and win 1 or 2 of them. Very doubtful that happens.
The history of these playoffs produces solid champions but not necessarily who you would expect. Horshel was not very good for most of last year and honestly wasn't a very deserving champion. The popular picks will definately be Day and Spieth but who actually wins it could be a mild darkhorse. A good way to end the fantasy year with 4 straight events with solid points available.
Starting Lineup
Keegan Bradley - If I am gonna go down might as well go down swinging if not kicking and screaming
Harris English - at least Mahan didn't explode after I traded him, the only positive of Harris
Ryan Moore - just hasn't been that good recently
Robert Streb - solid start to the year and solid finish, poor in between
Scott Piercy - never quite panned out this year
Brendan Steele - pretty solid year
Alternate: Nick Watney - why not, another player that may be gone forever from the elite golfers.
