Rob Rankings
1) Jordan Spieth - until he proves otherwise he is #1 where ever he plays
2) Jason Day - really on top of his game and hard to argue with this ranking
3) Rickie Fowler - His consistency has ramped up and I can't bump him down any
4) Hideki Matsuyama - He is consistant but isn't really knocking on the door to actually win lately. Bump him down 5 spots
5) Justin Rose - Rob is nailing on these top 5 so far
6) Adam Scott - I hate that he is so fickle that he has to rely on his caddy and his long putter for success. At least one will not be around long.
7) Sergio Garcia - I expect a good week from him as well
8) Louis Oosthuizen - Bolton isn't putting a putz up too high as of yet. He didn't start here either.
9) Marc Leishman - a bit high for me here. He has done well lately.
10) Jim Furyk - The old guy with the wacky swing is still a force in golf
11) Matt Kuchar - just a little off his game for most of the year. Move down a few spots
12) Brooks Koepka - Game is back in form for the dog days of summer. He will be a stud in short time.
13) Zach Johnson - He has to be riding on cloud 9 right now. Hard not to move him up some.
14) Danny Willett - I am actually becoming somewhat of a believer in this Euro Trash.
15) Branden Grace - this is the furthest Rob has gotten without really f**king up a pick.
16) Keegan Bradley - He plays well here but his poor play for most of the year will trump that. Move way out of the rankings.
17) Henrik Stenson - seems low for him but I can't think of a golfer I would bump for him other than Keegan.
18) Danny Lee - not quite buying into the Danny hype just yet. I predict doom and gloom for him this week.
19) Jimmy Walker - seems to be the forgotten man lately. The west close is long gone and still a long ways ahead.
20) Robert Streb - finally getting his game together after a long slump between January and June.
Deserving of Mention
Paul Casey - Has leveled off from his high level spring performances
Bill Haas - coming off a good performance and always seems to be overlooked
Billy Horschel - For the young guns he has settled onto the back burner for quite some time
Dustin Johnson - I guess Rob did make one pretty big blunder in forgetting about him.
Phil Mickelson - I hope he nevers plays on the senior tour. Just be a family man when your real career is over instead of some wannabe tour.
Patrick Reed - he has definately leveled off from his early season success
Charl Schwartzel - after a long miserable slump he is showing some good signs lately
Brandt Snedeker - he is really becoming a non factor lately. Is proving to be a bit steaky in his career instead of consistant.
Bubba Watson - Rob just seems to have very little love for Bubba it seems like way too often.
My Top 5
1) Jordan Spieth - who else
2) Jason Day - going with Bolton so far
3) Rickie Fowler - ok so I am now 3 for 3 in love with Bolton
4) Dustin Johnson - sorry Rob but your crazy with this one
5) Zach Johnson - gotta go with the Open Champ here
