I'd just like to say...

That we all have some decent favorites tourney-wise during the course of the season outside of the majors and such...but if we are to use an analogy pertaining to stimulation...and the U.S.Open was Zooey Deschannel, and the British Open is Jessica Alba (or substitute your own personal favorites here...)  well  these three weeks in between them are Phyllis Diller, Bea Arthur, and Joan Rivers... good grief...and the highlight of the year comes next week... (save perhaps for the lovely Valero Open, of course...it is a toss-up).  When I see the Tiger thread back up as the latest comments....you know where we are in the golf season....These three weeks...ugh....and I actually even kinda like The Travelers...but if the week after a major. Greenbriar also is actually a beautiful course in a lovely area...have driven by many times...including a couple weeks ago....but again....These three weeks in between the Opens is like the intermission time in between a double feature at a drive in ( summer nostalgia, there).  God, the British Isles cannot come soon enough.  Lol
