Power Rankings
1) Jason Day - He should be ranked but not at #1, maybe #5 would be closer to accurate
2) Marc Leishman - despite the good history here I just can't put him this high. Bump down 10-20 spots
3) Dustin Johnson - Fair slot to rank him. Has been off for a couple of weeks.
4) Gary Woodland - Hasn't done enough this year to quite be ranked this high. I would bump down several slots.
5) Jordan Spieth - too low for him. Needs to be bumped up 2-4 slots
6) Justin Thomas - good rookie no doubt but this seems too high for him at this point. I would feel better with him between 10-15
7) Charley Hoffman - just continues to rack up top 10's and 20's. He doesn't seem capable of winning but is always in contension
8) Ian Poulter - what is it with him playing so much in the states. He should be towards the top again this week.
9) Brandt Snedeker - hard to argue with this as his game seems to be rounding back into form
10) Matt Kuchar - Mr. Consistancy of the past has dropped that title of late but look for him to have a good week.
11) Jerry Kelly - I never trust him, sorry
12) Zach Johnson - he is really starting to play consistantly well. I may move him up multiple slots.
13) Keegan Bradley - Has done well here recently but has been on a pretty major downswing this year. Gotta bump him down and possibly out of rankings.
14) Brendon Todd - defending champ but recent poor play may trump that. I would probably not rank him just because he won it last year
15) John Huh - don't quite understand this one. I wouldn't have him in the top 30 or 40 this week.
Those deserving mention
Brendon de Jonge - not a big fan but would probably rate him higher than some of those ranked
Harris English - I have a feeling he will breakout this week
Russell Henley - has been playing some good golf lately
Morgan Hoffman - hasn't been very high on the leaderboard much this year, I think he will turn it around soon
Brooks Koepka - I don't think anyone thought he would disappear after winning Phoenix, but that argument can be made
Hunter Mahan - I honestly have no idea what Bolton is thinking most of the time with Mahan. I would probably not rank him this week either.
Louis Oosthuizen - could break out of it and finish top 5 at a moments notice
Jimmy Walker - even Bolton is losing faith in him.
My top 5
1) Jordan Spieth - back on the bandwagon this week
2) Dustin Johnson - Has been very good in tier 3 events
3) Louis Oosthuizen - time to break out
4) Harris English - gut feeling this week
5) Zach Johnson - plays well in Texas
