1) Jimmy Walker - Not trending the right direction and I am surprised he was ranked first.
2) Jordan Spieth - Can't argue this one much but I wouldn't put him behind Walker.
3) Ryan Palmer - Bolton is high again this week, even in his best performances here he wasn't this high, bump down 20 slots.
4) Zach Johnson - 2 time champ here and playing pretty well, agree with this one.
5) Kevin Na - as long as he isn't put in a high pressure situation he will be ok but top 5 is too much pressure for him.
6) Boo Weekley - not agreeing with this one either. Bump down at least 10 slots.
7) Chris Kirk - playing better but there are alot of good players ranked behind him, bump him down a few slots.
8) Ian Poulter - he is playing ok but maybe this would be too high.
9) Shawn Stefani - not a bad player but the rankings this week are puzzling.
10) Kevin Kisner - came back down to earth last week, this seems about right.
11) Robert Streb - I don't know if one week is enough for him to be ranked this high. Bump him down several slots.
12) Sean O'Hair - There must really be a poor field this week with the players being ranked so far. Can't agree with this one either.
13) John Senden - not quite as bad having him here than some that were ranked. About right.
14) Charley Hoffman - Playing well and deserving of this ranking. I may even bump him up a slot or two.
15) Paul Casey - should be ahead of half those ranked ahead of him.
Those that deserve consideration and with the ranking this week there should be a long list
Daniel Berger - play has level off but he has been consistant lately.
Graham DeLaet - better than some listed.
Russell Knox - slumped on Sunday last week but still is playing well.
Jason Kokrak - Bolton has a hard-on for him every week but suddenly not ranked with this field, don't understand that way of thinking
Marc Leishman - steady play should do him well this week
Hunter Mahan - Bolton got off his jock in a big way lately.
Ben Martin - I would have ranked him.
Louis Oosthuizen - I am surprised how often he has played in the states lately, could easily be ranked
Patrick Reed - Is he alergic to this course, why is he not ranked.
Adam Scott - could he even make the top 15 of the web.com tour or PGA tour as of late.
Brandt Snedeker - hasn't been playing well but should be mentioned.
With as much tradition as this tourney has the field is not very strong. This is nowhere near a tier 2 event. I once thought this deserved consideration but it might be closer to the Valero Texas Open as it is the Memorial Tourney as far as desirability. This event is sliding further and further down the scale of importance when it comes to PGA tour events.
My top 5
1) Zach Johnson - it's time for another win from him
2) Ben Martin - if he sucks this week I am jumping off the bandwagon
3) Jordan Spieth - probably a mistake because if he finishes this high he will probably likely win instead
4) Charley Hoffman - why not
5) Patrick Reed - but could end up higher
