Congrats to Rickie and him winning a tournament that he badly needed for respect. He was definately the best player when the tourney was on the line. I am a little disappointed that I didn't finally have a winner on a tier 1 event as I have never won one before. Kisner was about an inch away on two seperate ocassions of winning.

That was great golf, wasn't it? Had a housefull of mother's day guests for dinner, and even the non-golf folks were entertained. A little something for everyone, and a lot for Ricky. Had to be great, if you were a Ricky fan (I'm not -- don't hate him, just meh) I was jacked when I left work yest., checked the leaderboard, and Harman and Haas were both one stroke off the lead. By the time I got home 1/2 hr later, they were off the leaderboard. So many guys bunched at the top. They need to make this tourney the 'fifth major'. Great event at an exciting venue. I need to drive the 2 hrs to go to this, someday. The field is every bit as good as the Masters, and you can actually afford tickets. Congrats Aaron, great week!

Think Rickie got lucky last night...................since he almost did on the green at the end? ? hahahahahahaha That wasn't your typical "golf clap" type hug and kiss. That was the young free spirit I want to ravage you right now girlfriend!!!! I was cracking up.

Congrats, Aaron...just like DO with Ryan, or me with Day...it is extra special when one of your guys wins it...not just the competition here. I don't listen to a lot of the grumbles...There are great players who for several reasons don't quite get the overall wins you would think. Fowler...I might have agreed he was a tad overrated in 2013....but last year he validated his worth as far as I am concerned. Great win...and exciting golf overall yesterday...lot of fun. Glad Richie has a biggie now...but like Rose before...others...you know what type of player he is. For me...it is more several guys who have a following who have done truly little, but somehow must have looked so wonderful. I mean the way some talk about Harris English, you would think he already had two or three majors in his pocket. Hell...He has a few teammates better thus far...Kirk...Todd...he'll now Kisner even starting to finally do some things. Yes, English has loads of potential. ..but I can name thirty other guys with the same...who are equally young with most their career ahead of them. Anyway...Fowler has "it"...just like Rory, and Jordan, and Jason, and Justin, and DJ...and certain others do. Hell, Bobby was third on that survey and has two green jackets the past four years...so maybe some sour grapes were there in that survey as well.

I haven't heard anyone hype up Harris English in quite some time. He basically sucks right now and certainly doesn't show up for big events. He has the oft used word "potential" that every other player in the top 200 shares with him. I certainly couldn't trust him enough to start him and am glad I didn't. He can sit next to Keegan Bradley in my dog house.

One thing about the Players this year is that it was an awsome ending. To have so many people coming in chasing Rickie's clubhouse lead was great. Garcia, Haas, B Martin and Kisner at minimum had a chance to catch Fowler and 2 ended up tying him when it didn't look like anyone was going to catch him. To have a 3 man 3 hole aggregate was nice. 3 more extra holes is pretty cool and with an extra sudden death hole it was good to see more golf on probably the three best finishing holes in golf. None of the 3 players in the playoff let the pressure get to them. They all played pretty well after their drives on 16. For Fowler that kind of finish can really go along ways to bolstering his confidence in the future. I just love PGA Tour golf right now. So many good players out there battling it out every week. In my opinion the game has never been in better shape.

Eric that is exactly how I feel about it. Even Haas and B Martin didn't "choke". They played good golf down the stretch to even have a chance to tie. Just didn't happen for them. I can't remember a tournament this big where everyone seemed to play well down the stretch. Seems like usually everyone stumbles except 1 or 2.
As to your last point. I am pretty sure the PGA tour couldn't have scripted the past few months any better if they tried. I was just telling my wife as a golf fan I have never been more excited about the future of golf.

Lol....I see others were thinking similar thoughts about the girlfriend. I mean, sure we see other attractive girlfriends...like the golfers many are younger....BUT, they still seem at least to have a mode of decorum and display some tact and etiquette when there, excitedly hoping for their husband/boyfriend to win. This girl (because she was dressed the way a ten year old could dress....because any female older than that likely would have issues) looked more like some sank who just hangs around the beach. I don't expect her to be dressed like Lady Di...but you are at a huge golf tourney on television all over the world...not your bbf's brother's keg party on the beach.

I have to admit I wasn't fond of Rickie and his flat brim hat at first. But, I like him. Just seems like a good dude. Letting their personalities through. Didn't really show much more skin than Crenshaw's wife at the Masters.

I don't really care how she was dressed but there was a good amount of skin. What is funny is that she could have been charged with rape for the way she greeted him after the tourney. I guess she couldn't wait for the hotel room.
