Based on the lists that Rich sent along with the list Dan just sent this will be the order that teams will be able to select their draft slot. I will not establish the exact draft order until tomorrow night at 11PM Central which will give teams more time to get their draft position lists in if they choose.

My number I would choose is 10 If you want you can make an entire list in order that you would like to pick. If 10 is gone by the time you pick you would default to 1 and so on without a full list. |

It matters a little bit in round 8 since that is when the auction ends and the snake begins. Sometimes the order with which golfers get put up for auction can matter a little bit as well. |

Just a few more notes. In the schedule the WGC events which have very limited fields (even moreso than a major) are the 3 weeks where we have double tourneys. All weeks where there are 2 sanctioned events on tour. .
We will only draft 13 golfers on draft day as there are no 2 event weeks on tour for the first few weeks of our fantasy season. For each of the first 3 weeks we will have the option to add up to 1 addition golfer to the roster for each week (5.00 cost each). If a team chooses they can carry up to 16 on their roster which we all should know.
Here is the schedule for being able to add golfers. At any time through the year anyone not at 16 can add at any time.
after first tee times
at the Sony Open
at the American Express
at the Farmers Insurance Open
Another thing as well. Right now the Wells Fargo Championship is listed as a tier 2 event. If as a league we decide to replace that event with another tier 2 I am game for that. The Wells Fargo isn't the greatest event and having something else replace it would not hurt my feelings at all.
Here are my suggestions for a possible replacement for that event
The Genesis Invitational at Riviera - this event typically has a pretty good field
RBC Heritage - this event is after the Masters and has a decent field but maybe not excellent
RBC Canadian Open - this event hasn't had a great field but is now the tuneup for the U.S. Open so might improve
If we remove the Wells Fargo from the tier 2 status to a tier 3 we would have 5 straight weeks of tier 3 events. That is just kind of how things go.
We have to decide before the draft.
My vote to is replace Wells Fargo with the Genesis Invitational. If we did that we would have 4 out of 5 weeks early in the season by considered tier 2 events. The Heritage is a nice event as well.

Another thing as well and this is new to the league this year. The Tour Championship now starts the tourney with golfers already on the leaderboard where they would be year to date in the Fed Ex Cup race. Because of this I have a completely different scoring tier for just this event only. It combines the Tour Championship event (tier 2) with bonus points for the Fed Ex Cup finish. So basically because there are 2 factors involved it is now the highest scoring tier that we have in the league. The scoring system tab will show this new scoring format for our league. There is no longer a separate "Fed Ex Cup bonus points" that we have used in our league any longer. That is why this special tier of points is larger than any other tier we have. It combines one tier 2 event with the bonus points all in one. It will allow us to finish the year with a bang but is an appropriate scoring method in my opinion.

Eric,when I submitted that list it was meant to be your second random list,I submitted 10 after as my preferred choice as that would mean 1rst in the snake draft as past years,why wouldn’t everyone pick it lol

In response to Alex. We have no choice but to change the scoring structure as the Tour Championship is more of a culmination of the year to date and not an individual tournament. So that being a tier 2 event needs to be scored somehow and if we are to keep bonus points for the fed ex cup finish there has to be a new tier. There isn't any other changes being proposed to change the scoring system other than the last event of the year. I have put that in the scoring tab but it can certainly be up for discussion. If we don't change the Wells Fargo it will remain the same tier 2 as it has always been. I know some of us were complaining about the field for that event.
I would not mind hearing more posts on these topics before the draft. What we don't decide will have to be decided on Sunday evening. The more we decide before hand the less we have to decide on draft night. I always open things up for discussion but I don't usually get much input so I have to go with what seems to make sense for the league.
