I also wanted to post the rule regarding trading uneven golfers "Teams may trade golfers during the season amongst each other. No trading may involve cash or personal favors and must be done for the betterment of each team involved in the trade. No trading for salary cap money is allowed. Each trade will cost $1 per player acquired. If a team trades away more golfers than they acquire they will be charged 2 additional dollars if they make a free agent acquisition to fill their roster. So essentially the next add (without a drop in the same transaction) after a trade will cost that team $3, 1 for the traded golfer and 2 for the addition of a free agent to fill that empty spot on the roster". One is not required to fill said roster spot however and could have an open bench spot. |

No everything is ok with the trade now. Only Dan needed to drop a player and he did. All is good to go.
Ryan everything is ok on your end, but previously Rich having an invalid roster was the only reason it was an invalid trade. With the new 3 way trade announcement everything is ok.

DJ I missed that you did not have a full roster. If you want to keep Perez and not drop him it would cost you $5.00 which is the cost of adding a player to the initial 13 man roster. If you want to drop him it would be no cost to you.

Just a note regarding Sub Seventy's roster. Ryan you will be back down to 15 golfers. Since you have already filled your additional spots you won't be charge 5.00 for filling back to 16 but your next add if you don't drop will cost you 3.00.

Nope...
I can understand the frustration...I definitely can...but all this trading top players at the drop of the hat when something bull-shitty is really NOT what you want, and really does not makes things better for you, nor really the overall league, with ultra-BS trades.
Also, in your frustration tou said end of Monday, so you were giving every team in the league a chance of 24 hours, to make an offer, if they were interested --- if you are so he'll bent on sabotaging your team,, at this stage of things..
Frankly,,.you should keep your damn players, and vent, cuss, yell the next 24 hours, and get it all out of your system....then go business as usual the remainder of the week, and all this firewall BS, at least could be as if never mentioned.

This has been an incredibly frustrating year as commissioner. I feel everyone is kind of against me and complains about everything I do so of course this trade will get complaints as well. If the trade gets vetoed I completely understand that. I just don't really want to be a factor for the rest of the year. I feel that if I have success it is gonna be frowned upon or be considered unfair. I really have lost my will to field a team this year because if I have success it will be considered illegitimate or cheating. I am actually happy that Rahm was forced to withdraw.
I am always impartial and make decisions based on the rules like them or not but some think I have another agenda. I just feel there have been too many instances where people just are not happy with things. That being the case if I were to finish in the top 3 it would be an unpopular thing and some may think not deserved.
I was wrong to make this trade so if 2 others agree it is not a fair trade than I will just lock Smith, Rahm and Berger on my team. I have never thought so in the past but for this year I don't feel like there is any appreciation for the job I have to do but rather just distain for the decisions I have to make. My personal life is also kind of a dumpster fire as well so that does not help. I am battling depression from time to time and feeling worthless from time to time also. I like running the league and will continue to do so but just don't have the will to run my team right now.

I cannot speak for the others, but I have only seen support, and valid complementary comments pertaining to your duties, and the manner in how you try diligently to be fair, including not making decisions which benefit you, etc.
While certainly better than last year...Covid still is fucking with sports, and other social events...we just have to keep trying to have various levels of patience.
Is the Rahm thing BS? Yes. In our tennis league...was Djok hitting the ump or whatever to get DQ'd by? Yes...I was royally pissed...you are royally pissed now...and everyone understands.
Don't let it fuck the rest of the season for you though, by making a rash, heat-of-the-moment decision, out of that frustration.
That is a ridiculous trade, and both of you know it...but the other party, is just following your guidelines you stated...but still.
Likewise...you cannot announce a 24-hour period for all parties to have a chance to offer, if desired...then just agree to a trade 20 minutes after that.
Just...cool...down.
