Sitting on my front porch tonight. 1 1/2 hrs north of TPC.
Front just moved thru... light rain... temp dropped 20 degrees.
20 degrees temp change, 180 degree change in wind direction. The whole field will have to adjust.
Will be an interesting weekend.

You pissed Hideki off... shouldn't have done that, Rich. I mean you will not trade the guy...THEN sir him down during the first Tier 1 event...I question whether or not owning Hideki is a bit too much for you. 😁😉🤣😏
I know...is tough when everybody makes cut but you maybe have other options. Personally, I likely would have sat Molinari or Woodland...not because they couldn't have a strong day themselves...more the tourney. You know how highly I think of Molinari..but while even a few "experts" were picking him...I did not see this as much of a fit for him, as say perhaps Augusta next month as far as having a strong showing or contending.
Same with my two South Africans...much more faith in their results during the majors than this particular event. Even a guy like DJ...sure he is DJ, so you play him whatever course or week this is. That said...he is not as strong a play at Sawgrass as he is at other venues/tourneys during the year, including majors.
I almost subbed three because I was on the fence with Smith at this event, and like you I had a few other options at my disposal. I figure maybe Smith has a strong period this weekend to at least finish well, even if not contending. Olesen just keep doing what he has done first two days...Kim do similar...and Day and Fleetwood contend...hopefully.
Frankly, even if all is well this weekend...I wouldn't mind Day dropping out of Valspar next week to take things a little easy.
