PGA Championship Lineups and Subs

Just remember that we always have until prior to the first tee time of the day after the cut is actually made. Since the cut was not made until Saturday than we have until that first tee time Sunday to make our subs. If anyone has declared a sub already they have until tomorrow morning to make any changes as they see fit. The reason for this rule is so nobody ever has to worry about making subs by a certain time in the middle of the day that they may not be aware of. You always have over night to make any subs or changes to your subs.

For me this is a glass half empty glass half full tourney. I had 13 players play in this tourney and 8 of those 13 missed the cut. Considering the number of club pros that are probably playing that already take up a few spot of those that typically miss the cut. My team is full of jackasses this year.

On the good side at least the 5 that made it were all in my starting lineup saving me cap space for not having to use a sub this week. I was extremely lucky that I started the exact right 5 guys. I don't think that has ever happened with the high number that I had playing this week. That is especially true considering the extreme inconsistency of my players this season. I take that back, they are extremely consistent at sucktitude.

this puts me in a difficult situation here. We do not know if the app is in real time or if it has been updated. I know that the official leaderboard sometimes takes awhile to update. In the past I have always stuck by the actual tee times and I have denied late subs in the past that were past the actual listed tee times. Whether they actually teed off after the listed tee times I have not taken that into account and can we really know that.

Ryan I am going to deny this switch because I am consistent in my enforcement of this rule. The subs needed to be posted prior to the first tee time listed on the PGAtour.com web site for 4th round tee times.

This is why I have stressed multiple times in the past and did again yesterday that subs can be posted anytime and can be changed at any time prior to the first tee time. I feel bad denying this, I do, but if I don't stick to my decision it is going to open up a can of worms in the future for later and later exceptions to this rule.
